Stanton F. Grushkin, known affectionately as Stan to friends and family, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2024, at the age of 88. Born in Chicago on February 23, 1936, Stan's life was marked by creativity and a deep passion for his hobbies and interests.

A graduate of Wheaton High School and Northwestern University, where he studied Radio, TV, and Film, Stan enjoyed a varied career that included roles in radio, WGN, and Sears. After retirement, he and his wife Diane built a successful mail-order business together.

Stan's love for music, arts, and photography remained constant throughout his life. His interest in model railroading was a particular passion, displayed in his meticulously crafted basement layout. He will be remembered as a supportive husband, father, and grandfather with a great sense of humor and love.

Stan is survived by his wife Diane, children Jon and Beth, grandchildren Matthew, Samuel, Harrison, and Truman. He is preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Ann.

Memorials can be made to Lightways Hospice in Joliet. Services for Stan will be held privately at Wheeler Cemetery.
