The Grundy County Chamber and the City of Morris have officially welcomed Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating to the area with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 17. The new location is situated inside the Morris Business & Technology Center at 1802 N. Division St., Suite 100.
Manager Miranda Reinhardt explained the company's mission: “At Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating, we specialize in providing fresh, balanced, and portion-controlled meal plans designed to support healthy lifestyles.” She added that their meals are crafted by registered dietitians to ensure nutritional balance and cater to various dietary needs.
Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating was founded in 1985 by Seattle Sutton, an RN from Marseilles. The company operates with 60 employees at its Ottawa production facility and has 38 distributor locations throughout Chicagoland. In Morris, the business offers food pickup from 2-6 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, while customers can reach out anytime at 815-324-0926.
Reinhardt expressed enthusiasm about the expansion: “We are excited to expand our presence with a new distributor location in Morris, making it easier for residents to access convenient and nutritious meal options.” She highlighted that Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating has been dedicated to promoting healthier lifestyles for nearly four decades.
The company provides fresh meals that are never frozen, available for delivery or pickup. Customers also have access to personalized support from registered dietitians. Looking ahead, Seattle Sutton aims to broaden its reach so more communities can benefit from their offerings, with new menu items expected soon.
