Loretta Darlene Patton | UC Davis-Callahan Funeral Home & Aqua Cremation Center

Loretta D. Patton, at the age of 76, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024, in Morris, Illinois, leaving a lasting impact with her infectious joy and vibrant spirit. Born on January 17, 1948, in Lancing, Tennessee, Loretta's life was characterized by passion and enthusiasm, especially in pursuits like dancing, playing baseball, and shooting pool, where her competitive spirit shone through.

Loretta's greatest devotion was to her family, her loving husband Robert Patton, and their three daughters, Misti Patton, Wava (Jerry) Hauge, and the late Dawn Godina (2021). Her role as a mother was central to her identity, shaping the lives of her children with love and guidance.

Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren, Amanda Bekker, Zach Drummond, and Jacob Ramey, as well as her beloved great-grandchildren, Cailey Bekker and Cameron Drummond, each carrying a part of her spirit forward, ensuring her memory endures through generations.

Preceded in death by her parents, Alden and Lucille Hickman, daughter Dawn Godina, granddaughter Shanae Drummond, and brother Jerry Hickman, Loretta's memory is a treasure her family will hold near and dear.

Loretta's loved ones find comfort knowing she is now at peace, her spirit dancing among the stars, surrounded by those who went before her. Though her earthly journey has concluded, the tale of her love and impact will endure through the lives she touched and the love she shared.
