Eggventure Cafe has opened its doors at 410 W. Mondamin St. in Minooka, marking the occasion with a grand opening celebration on July 12. The event featured breakfast and lunch specials, drawing community members and local officials.

The cafe is owned by Sevcan Ustura, who leads a team of 15 employees. The menu includes sweet options such as crepes and pastries, along with savory dishes like skillets and gourmet paninis for lunch.

“We’re focused on bringing you high-quality food with high-quality service,” Ustura said in a news release.

Ustura emphasized that her staff is dedicated to maintaining standards of quality in both food and service.

The Channahon Minooka Chamber, which is part of the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce & Industry, attended the ribbon cutting ceremony alongside Ustura’s team, family members, Minooka Mayor Ric Offerman, and other village officials.

Chamber President & CEO Christina Van Yperen commented on the cafe’s reception in the community: “Eggventure Cafe already has a great following of loyal customers because of their welcoming staff and amazing food. Whether you are a first-timer or regular customer the staff ensures everyone who walks through the door feels at home.”

Looking ahead, Eggventure Cafe plans to add more seasonal and holiday dishes to its offerings. Ustura encouraged customer feedback about menu items: “We’re always open to any suggestions regarding the restaurant! If you have thoughts about existing or potential menu items, please let us know.”
